Belanne Marie Ungarelli

Belanne Ungarelli is an Assurance Partner within the Technology sector in the firm's New York office. A 17-year veteran with the Firm, Belanne's expertise lies with venture capital firms and Small Business Investment Companies (SBIC's). For the past two years she has been responsible for authoring the Firm's national venture capital and SBIC training courses and instructing those classes as well. Addtionally, Belanne has been responsible for authoring/updating on a yearly basis the SBIC section of the Firm's Accounting and Reporting Manual. She continually works with the Firm's National Audit Quality group in developing the national audit policies and procedures used in audits of venture capital and SBIC clients. Aside from her venture capital expertise, Belanne has also served a large number of venture-backed emerging growth companies and has assisted them through significant transactions including initial public offerings. Belanne has been quoted in Crains as well as various local New York business journals. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The New York State, Connecticut, and New Jersey Society of CPA's, and the American Woman's Society of CPA's.

John Gagel received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1988. He went on to gain his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1993. His practice emphasizes patent infringement and validity, and patent prosecution of mechanical, chemical, biomedical, materials science and physics inventions. He has done prosecution work in the areas of medical devices, semiconductor test equipment, ion beam lithography, combustion effluent treatment systems, high temperature superconductors, pharmaceuticals, electrical connectors, and food-product related inventions. John is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also admitted to the bar in Massachusetts.

Peter Korn recieved his B.A. in History from Georgetown University in 1993. He recieved his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1996. He is a member of the Corporate and Securities group and his skills emphasize venture capital and private equity matters, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling. He was previously a Corporate Finance Associate with Morrison & Foerster LLP (2000-2002), and with Winston & Strawn (1996-2000). He is admitted to the bar in New York.

Jesse Reyes

Mr. Reyes is the Founder of Reyes Analytics. He was formerly the Vice President and Director of Global Research for Thomson Venture Economics. Mr. Reyes joined Venture Economics in 1989 as research manager and later became product manager of Venture Economics' Investor Services performance and portfolio analytics products. Promoted to director in 1993, he was the chief architect of the Venture Economics Investment Benchmark Reports on private equity performance and was the editor of every edition since their inception in 1990. In addition, Mr. Reyes was the primary visionary and product manager of the Venture Economics VentureXpert web product which is the most comprehensive source of private equity data available. His background includes an M.B.A. in finance and statistics from Texas Tech University as well as graduate studies in the department of economics at Harvard University.
