Interview with Dr. Ola Bengtsson of The Johnson School at Cornell University

Dr. Ola Bengtsson of The Johnson School at Cornell University focuses his research on private equity and venture capital. More specifically, he studies how venture capitalists select in which entrepreneurs to invest, how contracts between venture capitalists and entrepreneurs are structured and how executives and employees of venture capital backed companies are compensated. In one of his recently released research papers entitled The Geography of Venture Capital Contracts, Dr. Bengtsson utilized data from VC Expert's PEDataCenter to study how the use of contractual provisions varies with geographical factors. He holds an MBA and PhD from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree in business and economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. We are pleased to be joined this week by Dr. Ola Bengtsson.
