There has been a very interesting exchange of ideas recently on The New York Times DealBook regarding how the venture capital industry has changed. An article posted on the DealBook entitled, "Another View: V.C. Investing Not Dead, Just Different" by Alan Patricof has generated much attention and reaction from some high profile individuals in the venture community. One of those individuals is Elliott Dahan, Managing Partner of The Growth Group. Elliot argues that what is needed is a public-private for profit dedicated effort to work with, support and compensate the seed infrastructure, and he has created an interesting presentation to make his point. We are pleased to have Elliott join us today.
