These days you can purchase just about anything online, and just about all of us purchase things regularly over the web. This week we are going to take a look at the latest round for Gilt Groupe, Inc., a company that provides access to fashion and luxury brands at sample prices.

Gilt Groupe, Inc. is headquartered in New York, NY. The company provides a private, by invitation only, online community that gives its members access to fashion and luxury lifestyle brands at sample sale prices. The organization raised a Series D round a couple of months ago, bringing in an additional $35 MM. Participating in this round were Matrix Partners and General Atlantic LLC.
